This is the perfect afternoon pick me up when you need a sharp and fast sweet hit.
My favourite superfood, cacao, provides a bitter chocolate taste, which is sweetened naturally by dates, banana and almond milk.
2 tspns cacao
1 tspn cinnamon
1 banana (preferably frozen)
3 medjool dates
1 cup of almond milk
1/4 cup of ice (optional)
1 tbspn cacao nibs to sprinkle on top (optional)
Simply, put all the ingredients except for the cacao nibs into a blender and blend. Sprinkle over the cacao nibs and enjoy!
